Second Bird Flu Case in India: Child Recovers After Months

A 4-year-old from West Bengal became the second human case of bird flu (H9N2) in India, the WHO reported. The boy, hospitalized in February with fever and breathing issues, recovered after 3 months. No family members were infected. This follows the first human H9N2 case in India reported in 2019.
