The number of trucks carrying tomatoes from key producing states like Maharashtra, Karnataka, and Himachal Pradesh has decreased significantly, leading to a shortage in the capital. Wholesale rates have surged from ₹30-35 per kg to ₹60-70 per kg in just a week.
