Dy CM Pawan Orders Removal of 4K Conocarpus Trees in AP

Andhra Pradesh’s Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan has ordered the removal of Conocarpus trees, citing health and environmental concerns. These South American plants, commonly used for landscaping, have been found to deplete groundwater and pose risks to public health. Authorities have begun the process of removing the 4,602 Conocarpus trees identified in Kakinada.
