Krishna River in Flood: Almatti Dam Gates Lifted

The Krishna River’s flood level has increased, causing the gates of Almatti Dam to be lifted. This flood is reaching the Narayanapur reservoir below, which will reach its maximum level today. The dam gates will be lifted, releasing water to rivers below. Jurala will be full in two days, after which water will be released to Srisailam Dam.
