Woman Fined Rs 1 Lakh for False Allegations Against In-Laws

The Punjab and Haryana High Court imposed a fine of Rs 1 lakh on a woman for falsely claiming that her 100% disabled in-laws chased and assaulted her. The court found her allegations to be baseless and an attempt to misuse the legal system. It stated that such frivolous complaints waste judicial time and resources.
