Sunita Williams’ Extended Space Gardening Mission

Sunita Williams, aboard the ISS, has been researching techniques for growing plants in space as her mission, originally planned for 10 days, has extended to 50 days. She is testing methods to water and nourish plants without soil, using fluid physics to overcome the lack of gravity.
