Ex-Husband Suspected in Harrowing US Case of Woman Found Chained to a Tree

A 50-year-old US woman, Lalita Kayi Kumar, was found chained to a tree in a Maharashtra forest after reportedly being tied there by her ex-husband. Rescued by police, she was weak and had not eaten for days. Authorities suspect attempted murder and are investigating her husband’s involvement.
