Two More Gates Lifted to Release Water

Heavy flood water is flowing into the Srisailam project. Officials have opened two more gates, adding to the three already lifted, to release over 2.25 lakh cusecs of water. This action is necessary due to heavy rains in the upper areas, ensuring safety for downstream communities.
