A 50-year-old American woman, Lalita Kayi, was found chained to a tree in Maharashtra’s Sindhudurg forest. She claimed she tied herself there and has no husband. Previously, she was rescued after being starved for 40 days. Police suspect her husband is involved and are investigating the case.
