Doctors at Shiv Mahima Hospital in Aligarh, UP left a towel inside a woman’s abdomen after delivery and stitched her up. The woman suffered severe pain and had to be admitted to another hospital, where the towel was removed. The state health department has launched an investigation into this case of gross medical negligence.
