Hyderabad police are on high alert for Independence Day celebrations. Security has been increased across the city, with anti-sabotage checks at bus stations and heightened vehicle inspections. About 1,500 police personnel will ensure safety during the flag hoisting ceremony at Golconda Fort on August 15.
