‘No Rush For My Biopic’

Published by

India’s hero Neeraj Chopra who won a Gold medal at Tokyo Olympics returned to the country on Monday evening. Neeraj received a warm welcome at the Delhi Airport and later union ministers Anurag Thakur and Kiren Rijiju felicitated him on the outstanding achievement.

A press meet was also held on the occasion and Neeraj shared his thoughts. And most importantly Neeraj opened up on the biopic reports that are circulating on social media.

Right after Neeraj winning Gold media, reports came from the B-town that either Akshay Kumar or Ranadeep Hooda might play Neeraj in the biopic. When asked about his comment, Neeraj replied that there is no rush for a film on him.

“I’m just 23 years old and I have a long way to go. So the biopic can wait. Taking this win, I want to achieve a lot and my next focus is on Asian Games, CommonWealth games. Once I get a feeling that I have achieved a lot, then I would think of retirement. Probably after retirement, a lot of stories are there that need to be told,” said Neeraj.

Truly Neeraj is a young athlete and if he can continue to play for another decade, he can win more medals and then a biopic would be a befitting reply to his illustrious career.
