England was termed favorites at the beginning of the T20 world cup. But now, things have changed as a very professional New Zealand team has beaten them and entered their first-ever T20 finals.
Batting first England set a target of 167 to New Zealand which the black caps reached with an over to spare. Daryl Mitchell who opened the innings top scored with 72 and hit 4 sixes in his innings.
The England fans were having big hopes on the match when New Zealand lost quick wickets of Martin Guptil and Kane Williamson. But the other batters stood their ground.
With this win, New Zealand took revenge for the Lord’s final where they lost to England in the 50 over world cup.
