SunRisers Hyderabad, deeply disappointed in the last season of IPL by standing at the bottom of the points table. It appeared that everything went wrong for SunRisers and the Orange Army seriously wanted some change.
Seems like the franchise has heard the emotions of the fans and they made a major reshuffle in the coaching staff. Former Australian cricketers Tom Moody and Simon Katich are back in the coaching roles and we have new faces too.
Legends Brain Lara and Dale Steyn are signed by the SRH franchise. The West Indian cricketer will be the batting coach and strategic advisor for SRH while the South Africa fast bowler will lead the bowling unit. Also former Indian cricketer Hemang Badani is the field coach as well as scout for the team SRH.
Announcing this through a video, SRH captioned, “Introducing the new management/support staff of SRH for #IPL2022! Orange Army, we are #ReadyToRise!”
SRH retained Kane Williamson, Abdul Samad and Umran Malik and will go for the mega auction with Rs 68 crore in the purse. IPL 2022 will witness ten teams and the mega auction will be held in February 2022.
The Telugu fans will definitely expect a noteworthy performance from SRH in the coming season and wish the changes in the coaching staff leave an impact.
