RCB Is Two Wins Away From “Ee Sala Cup Namde’

Royal Challengers Bangalore.

This team enjoys massive fandom across the country. It is one of the most popular teams in the history of the Indian Premier League. Still, it is yet to win an IPL trophy. In the last 14 editions, RCB failed to lift the trophy. In some seasons, it came close but missed winning the league either in the final or in the playoffs.

This time, the men in red have been qualified again for the playoffs. Last night, they have beaten Lucknow Super Giants in the Eliminator and progressed to the Qualifier 2.

RCB will take on Rajasthan Royals in Qualifier 2 on Friday. The team which wins this match will go to the final and play against Gujarat Titans.

RCB is just a couple of wins away from creating history and say ‘Ee Sala Cup Namde’. It has been a dream for every Indian cricket fan to see RCB veteran Virat Kohli lift the IPL trophy.

Can it happen this time?

RCB squad this year has been better than the previous editions. Every match, it found a new hero who won a game for them. Earlier, it used to depend on the likes of Kohli and AB de Villiers for victories. But that was not the case this time.

Kohli has been in poor form this season. But RCB found new heroes in the form of Faf du Plessis, Dinesh Karthik, Rajat Patidar, Glenn Maxwell, Wanindu Hasaranga, Josh Hazlewood and Harshal Patel. The team found a new hero in every game. This team deserves to be title winners, opined many fans.

Let’s see if that long-lasting dream can be fulfilled this year.
