India all set to take on Pakistan once again

Published by

The iconic clash between India and Pakistan is back in less than a week. Last Sunday, India defeated Pakistan in a last-over thriller, thanks to Hardik Pandya’s heroics. Now, they are set to take on each other in the Super-4 stage of the Asia Cup.

Hardik Pandya, who missed the last game against Hong Kong, will return in this match. Meanwhile, Ravindra Jadeja has been ruled out of the tournament due to a knee injury. Axar Patel has been announced as his replacement.

But it is doubtful whether Axar will make it to the playing XI. The management will be tempted to bring Rishab Pant but that would make the team short of an all-rounder. So, we may expect not one but a couple of changes in this game.

On the flip side, Pakistan has rested Shahnawaz Dahani for this game due to a suspected side strain. Apart from him, Pak would most likely use the same XI it played against Hong Kong.

Dubai International Stadium will be hosting the game. It will start at 07.30 PM IST. Star Sports Network and Disney+ Hotstar will telecast the game.
