The first-ever auction of the Women’s IPL is currently underway in Mumbai. A total of five teams are competing to buy the best among women cricketers. India’s star batter Smriti Mandhana has been the biggest buy so far in the auction. Royal Challengers bought her for a price of Rs. 3.4 crore. Here are the top 7 buys of this auction.

Smriti came up with a base price of Rs. 50 lakhs. Royal Challengers Bangalore bought her for Rs. 3.40 crore.

This English all-rounder also made big noise at the auction. She was bought by Mumbai Indians for Rs. 3.20 crores.

Gujarat Giants bought Australian Gardner for Rs. 3.20 crore. She came up with a base price of Rs. 50 lakhs.

UP Warriorz bought this star Indian all-rounder for a price of Rs. 2.60 crore. She came up with a base price of Rs. 50 lakhs.

  1. Jemmaiah Rodrigues:

Yesterday’s heroics against Pakistan helped Jemmaiah to fetch a big price of Rs. 2.2 crores at the auction. She was bought by Delhi Capitals.

U-19 World Cup winning captain Shefali Varma was bought by Delhi Capitals for a price of Rs. 2 crores.

Gujarat Giants bought this Australian wicketkeeper for a price of Rs. 2 crores. She came up with a base price of Rs. 40 lakhs.
