In the history of Men’s cricket, for the second time, this rare feat is achieved and this time the Men In Blue did the honours.
The Indian blue contingent has now become the ICC World No.1 in all the formats, including Tests, One Day and T20s after sealing their win over Australia in the first test match of the Border-Gavaskar trophy couple of days ago.
Back in 2014, South Africa achieved the rare feat of becoming the No.1 in all the formats of Men’s Cricket. Till a couple of days ago, Australia used to be the No.1 in Tests, while India climbed to No.1 in One Days after awarding a series defeat to New Zealand recently.
Earlier the men in blue are already in the top spot of T20 rankings back in 2022 after beating West Indies in a bilateral series at home. After beating Australia in Nagpur Test last week, Team Blue reached the top spot and the guest country slipped to the second spot.
If at all India wins this test series 3-0, then the team will be going to the ICC Test Championship finals. No doubt, creating a history like this is very rare and hope that India will keep continuing their good form for a long period.
