Finally, we reached the playoffs of IPL 2020. The business will be serious now as all the four teams will be working hard to win the title. Mumbai Indians, Delhi Capitals, Sunrisers Hyderabad and Royal Challengers Bangalore are the four teams which have reached this knockout stage. Meanwhile, getting an orange cap is one of the most important achievements in every edition of IPL. This time, KL Rahul is leading the race for the orange cap with 670 runs.
Rahul’s campaign has ended unsuccessfully as Kings XI Punjab failed to qualify for the playoffs. Thus, a few other batsmen now have a slight chance of crossing Rahul. They are David Warner, Shikhar Dhawan, Devdutt Padikkal and Virat Kohli. Warner scored 529 runs this season. If everything goes well, he can play three matches from now on. Thus, he can overtake Rahul if he makes half-century in every game. Same is the case with Padikkal who scored 472 runs and Kohli 460 runs in the edition right now. Shikhar Dhawan scored 525 runs till now and he has equal chances as Warner.
However, all these four batsmen need to perform extremely well in the remaining matches to overtake Rahul. It is most unlikely to happen but they have chances of making it.
