IPL is starting in around a week from now, and the anticipation is building up to the same. In this context, here is a look at the captains of all 10 IPL teams that are in contention this year.

It must be noted that Kolkata, Bangalore, Lucknow, Punjab, and Delhi have a new captains this year. This is one of the first times that as many as five teams in the IPL are getting new captains in a single year. It is known that the mega auction is the reason behind this major rehash.
Another interesting point is that as Sunrisers Hyderabad is the only IPL team with a foreign captain, while all other nine teams have domestic players as captains. This is another rare thing in IPL.
Meanwhile, the stage is set for the start of IPL from March 22 with the opening game to be played between RCB and KKR.
