#AusVsInd: Team India’s Lowest-Ever Test Score

Published by

The third day of the first Test match between Australia and India witnessed some unbelievable events. Team India, who was on top at the start of the day, collapsed to just 36 runs. Thus, India has posted its lowest-ever total score in Test cricket. And this credit went to Captain Virat Kohli as netizens troll him for the team’s poor show. This is indeed a humiliating collapse for the men-in-blue.

With Shami getting retired hurt, India was left with no option rather than to declare its innings.

The likes of Virat Kohli, Ajinkya Rahane and other Indian batsmen did even score double digit scores and the highest score was 9 by Mayank Agarwal. Pat Cummins and Jose Hazlewood ripped through the Indian batsmen. Hazlewood claimed five wickets.

Australia had 90 runs target and it is just a cake walk. The first Test may go to the hosts unless and until some miracle happens.

The social media woke up to utter shock seeing the scorecard of India and they are still unable to digest that India did not even score 50 runs. The previous lowest Total score for Team India in Test Cricket was 42 against England at Lord’s in 1974.
