BCCI Announces Big Cash Prize For All Olympic Medalists

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is happy with the performance of Indian Athletics at the Tokyo Olympics. The board announced huge cash prizes for all the Olympic medalists.

BCCI Secretary Jay Shah took to his profile and tweeted the same.

For Gold Medal winner Neeraj Chopra, BCCI announced INR 1 Cr.

BCCI also decided to award both Mirabai Chanu and Ravi Kumar Dahiya (Silver Medalists) with 50 lakh rupees each.

For the other 4 Bronze Medalists, the board announced 25 lakh rupees. PV Sindhu, Lovlina Borgohai, and Bajrang Punia will get 25 lakh each.

The board announced INR 1.25 Cr for the Indian men’s Hockey team.

BCCI is considered the richest cricket board in the world. Even in the past, the board announced massive rewards for the Olympic medalists.

When it comes to cricket, team India is currently playing its first test against England. On day 4 of the first test, England is in lead.
