Though there is no big change between iPhone12 and iPhone13 in terms of design, the specifications and few software developments are interesting. More than all these features and pricing, it is one video advertisement of the phone that is actually capturing the attention of Indian fans of this Apple creation.
Apple has come up with a video ad where a delivery boy is shown rushing to work, getting quick on his bike to deliver food and in the meantime, his iPhone13 suffers a lot. The ad is to highlight how the phone’s tough ceramic design and water resistance makes it a weather-sealed and safe piece for the users.
But then, the background score, which happens to be the guitar strumming taken from RD Burman’s Dum Maro Dum song, is quite catchy. Indian fans are loving this ad for the very same reason.
Back then, to advertise iPhone12’s ceramic body, Apple used Carnatic music created by Indian musicians on Tabla, and that advert also went viral. Looks like iPhone makers are focusing majorly on the Indian and South Asian market, and hence this usage of Indian music by them to attract young customers here. Meanwhile, sales of the phone are yet to open in India while pre-booking with old-phone buy back offers are already active.
