Miss Universe Made To ‘Meow’ Onstage: She Defends The Host!

Miss Universe Harnaaz Sandhu won the Miss Universe 2021 title and she made the country proud with the title win after 20 years. While the celebration and the winning moments are all over, there is one thing that irked a lot of Indians along with many others. It is the moment when the host Steve Harvey asked Harnaaz to give her best animal impersonation.

Harnaaz obliged to it and she made a ‘meow’ sound in front of millions of people. It has become one of the most talked-about moments during Miss Universe, as the host asked many other contestants to speak about their respective accomplishments.

Steve Harvey is being trolled for such type of question, but the Miss Universe is defending his question. She said they were having so much fun and to make everyone laugh was her ultimate goal. She also said she can’t stop being herself when she has a great human being like Steve next to her.

Harnaaz Sandhu definitely was shocked to hear such a question on that stage, that too after being named one of the top 16 finalists. She only thought it was her time to shine and showcase one of her great talents. Sandhu did not agree with the criticism, saying it was her dream to stand next to Harvey on the Miss Universe stage. Sandhu claims she was feeling so comfortable after the question.

Sandhu also reveals she would have loved to impersonate Harvey onstage.
