The whole world is going through a health crisis in the form of Covid-19. This virus is posing a threat to humanity and India is currently the third worst hit country. From Centre to all the state governments in the country are taking unprecedented steps to contain the virus further. However, a huge scandal got exposed concerning Covid-19 and it is even more dangerous than thought.
A private hospital in Uttar Pradesh is reportedly issuing Covid-19 negative certificates to positive patients and for this the hospital is charging Rs 2500 from one patient. This scandal is caught on camera and it literally sent shock waves in the state, as the virus could have spread further.
Just when the governments are doing awareness campaigns about maintaining social distancing and wearing masks, this hospital is encouraging Covid-19 positive patients to get a negative certificate and pose a huge risk to the society.
Learning about this the Chief Medical Officer of Meerut has called for a detailed probe and they would found out that this is true. Stunned by this, the officials have seized the hospital and also cancelled its license.
However the hospital claims innocence and alleges a conspiracy. The police have launched a complete investigation and finding out the whereabouts of people who were issued Covid-19 negative certificates so far.
This is probably the most irresponsible thing to do when Covid-19 is not sparing anyone.
