Hyd Woman Techie Arrested For Selling Marijuana

The consumption of drugs is increasing every day in Hyderabad. For the last few years, we have seen many people getting arrested in drug-peddling cases. Now, the city cops have arrested an IT employee who had been illegally selling marijuana.

Kondapaneni Mansi is an IT employee who is working in an MNC in Hyderabad. She resides in the Nacharam area along with her husband Madan Manekar.

According to the reports, the couple has been importing marijuana from Araku and selling it in areas like Malkajgiri, Nacharam, Medchal, Punjagutta, and Banjara Hills.

Apparently, the Bowenpally Police had tried to catch this couple during a raid on March 12. But they managed to catch two other youngsters who were peddling 1.2 kilos of marijuana along with Mansi and Madan. The couple had managed to escape.

Finally, the cops caught Mansi in Kompally upon the information from those youngsters.

It is heard that Mansi’s ancestors hail from Andhra Pradesh but her family is currently settled in Nagpur. She had pursued her engineering in Bhopal and shifted to Hyderabad for her job. She has been staying in Nacharam along with her husband for the last three years, stated the cops.
