In a horrific accident, seven passengers who reportedly hail from Telangana have been charred to death in Karnataka on the wee hours of Friday. The bus with 29 people, was going to Hyderabad from Goa and on the outskirts of the Kamalapura town in Kalaburagi district, the bus hit a tempo vehicle.
The bus caught fire in this collision and four people were instantly burnt to death while three people reported severe injuries. When the victims were being shifted to the nearest hospitals, they succumbed.
The police informed that 22 people managed to escape from the bus and injured people are admitted to various hospitals in Kalaburagi and are undergoing treatment. The tempo driver also sustained injuries.
Local Police have launched an investigation and some of the deceased are said to be from Telangana. The visuals show the bus was completely brought to rust by the fire.
