Visakhapatnam girl Charishma Krishna bagged the Miss South India 2022 title in the Amrut Veni, and Manappuram presents Miss South India 2022 beauty contest. Debnita Kar is the first runner-up, and Samruddi Shetty stood as the second runner-up.
The contest took place in Kochi at Le Meridien. Twenty young girls from all five South Indian states participated in the event. Pegasus Chairman Dr. Ajit Ravi was also present at the ceremony.
Charishma Krishna hails from Visakhapatnam and is a student of Andhra University. She is enrolled in the Fine Arts department.
Coming to her family, Charishma’s father’s name is Hari Krishna. Charishma is a classical dancer who has given almost 30 stage performances. She also underwent training in horse riding, swimming, and acting.
Charishma received a DQUE gift prize of Rs 1,00,000, while the first and second runners-up received prizes of Rs 60,000 and Rs 40,000, respectively.
