Former Team India skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni announced his retirement through a video on his Instagram handle, thanking all for the support. MS Dhoni on his Instagram video post quoted the words ” “Thanks a lot for ur love and support throughout. from 1929 hrs consider me as Retired”

MS Dhoni is now retired from International cricket, probably from all formats. His video made with pictures from himself on and off ground with the famous Hindi vintage song ‘Main pal do pal ka’ is sure to make his fans emotional.

MS Dhoni has got an immense record in his 15 years of International cricket career. THe 38 year old last played in the World Cup 2019, while the team lost it to New Zealnd in semis. Dhoni announced retirement from Tests in 2014 and he has played 350 One day International matches and 98 T20Is.

The legend has scored 10773 runs in 350 ODIs with 10 centuries and 73 half centuries in it. Dhoni has scored 1617 runs in 98 T20Is, including two half-centuries. Dhoni is the fifth Indian and 12th overall in One day International history to score 10,000 runs.

India won the World Cup in 2011 and the World Twenty 20 in 2007 under Dhoni’s captaincy.
