A video of a woman traveling in the Delhi metro has gone viral and the Delhi Metro issued a statement urging the commuters to follow ‘social etiquette’ after that.
In a video recorded by one of the travelers, the woman was seen wearing a bra and a miniskirt on the Delhi Metro. Many people questioned her bold clothing choices and the woman said she doesn’t care about what people thought of her. She also ruled out being inspired by Uorfi Javed’s dress and also that she is not doing it for publicity.
Speaking to India Today, the woman said, ‘It’s my freedom what I want to wear. I am not doing this for a publicity stunt or to become famous. I don’t care what people have to say. I didn’t even know who she (Uorfi Javed) was until recently a friend showed me her photo. However, I look up to her after knowing her story.’
It was later found out that the girl is Rythm Channa and is doing publicity. She is an aspiring model and actress in Delhi. It looks like her stunt worked pretty well actually.
When asked about her attire offending the sensibilities of fellow passengers mentioning ‘indecency as a punishable offense under section 59, the girl brings up the ‘no videography policy inside trains’ saying that the people who shot her video also should be punishable.
