Mukesh Ambani Gifts Rs 1,500 Cr Worth Property to His Employee

Mukesh Ambani, the richest person in India, has gifted a multi-storey building worth ₹1,500 crore to his most trusted employee at Reliance Industries, Manoj Modi.

Modi, who is often referred to as Ambani’s right-hand man, has played a pivotal role in securing multi-billion dollar deals at Reliance Industries. As a gesture of appreciation, Ambani gifted him a 22-storey building located in Mumbai’s Nepean Sea Road area.

The property, named ‘Vrindavan,’ was designed by Talati & Partners LLP and features furniture sourced from Italy. Spanning across 1.7 lakh square feet, each floor covers an area of 8000 square feet, with parking restricted to the seven floors in the building. Properties in the Nepean Sea Road area cost between ₹45,100 and ₹70,600 per square foot, making Modi’s new property in this prime location worth ₹1,500 crore.

Modi is currently serving as a Director at Reliance Retail and Reliance Jio and owns large-scale projects such as the Hazira petrochemical complex, the Jamnagar refinery, the first telecom business, Reliance Retail, and 4G rollout.

Nepean Sea Road is a posh locality in South Mumbai, adjacent to Malabar Hill, with world-class amenities and robust social infrastructure. The site is flanked by the sea on three sides, adding to its exclusivity and allure. Ambani’s generous gift to Modi underscores his gratitude for his loyal employee’s contributions to Reliance Industries.
