Obituaries are published in many newspapers not for the fact that anyone will read them, but due to the hope that some near and dear will recall their memories with the lost ones. And then, a crazy guy has sent a crazy obituary to ‘The Hindu’ newspaper, which was supposed not to get published. But it happened.
Upset with the happenings in the country and how media is tackling things just for the sake of TRPs, a guy sent an obituary to noted Indian daily “The Hindu”, where his script has concealed words that read “Death of Media, daughter of Freedom and wife of Truth”.
And surprisingly, yet shockingly, the obituary got published in the newspaper. Whether the news daily published it knowingly, or they haven’t realised the satire in this obituary is something only they could clear, but then the ‘obituary’ became a viral topic on the social media.
A lot of celebrities and even media folks have shared this obituary and made a mockery of how media is working for the sake of money as they thought that ‘The Hindu’ has published it after taking the ad money but haven’t really gone through the content. No doubt, this is the craziest thing that has happened in newspapers in the recent times.
