Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer is the most awaited film and fans of Nolan are waiting to feel the wonder on the big screen. In a recent interview, Nolan confirmed that there are no CGI shots in Oppenheimer.
Nolan is not really a great fan of CGI in creating a spectacle but instead, he likes realistic work. Nolan recreated the testing of an atomic bomb in Oppenheimer and it has ‘zero’ CGI shots.
Oppenheimer is a film adapted from the book American Prometheus by Kai Bird and the late Martin J Sherwin to tell the story if American physicist J. Robert Oppenheimer, who is known as the father of the atomic bomb. Cillian Murphy played the role of Oppenheimer.
Nolan and team recreated the Trinity test earlier, the first-ever test explosion of the nuclear bomb in the desert of New Mexico in 1945, without CGI at all.
Oppenheimer is gearing up to hit the big screens on July 21 2023 with the stellar cast of Matt Damon, Emily Blunt, Robert Downey Jr, Florence Pugh, Jack Quaid, Benny Safdie, Rami Malek, Dane DeHaan, Josh Hartnett, Matthew Modine, Kenneth Branagh among others.
Oppenheimer is rated ‘A’ in India due to extended scenes of nudity and scenes involving Cillian Murphy and Florence Pugh. The run time is 3 hours 10 mins.
Oppenheimer will be locking horns with Tom Cruise’s Mission Impossible: The Dead Reckoning Part One and Barbie.
