A video of a teen shaking some object in his hands indistinctly is going viral on social media raising concern about the future of the country. According to reports, the boy is a victim of Chinese online games PUBG and Free Fire. These games are so designed that the losers of these games would not be able to tolerate the defeat and would go to the extreme extent of dying by suicide or they would lose their mental health.
The viral video shows the case of a teen, belonging to Alwar in Rajasthan, affected by the online games. After showing the poor condition of the boy, it shows a teacher, for the specially-abled, Bhavani Sharma saying that the child was brought to their special school.
“According to our assessment after listening to his parents and relatives, he is a victim of games like Free Fire. The child has lost in the game. In these games, if a player loses, he would not be able to tolerate it – they either die or lose their mental balance. Even this child has lost his mental balance. We have designed a programme in which sport activities have been included and we have decided that he child should win in all of those games so that he overcomes the fear of loss and remembers his victory.”
Sensing the trouble being caused by the dangerous online games, the Indian government had banned the Chinese online game PUBG. Later, different versions of the game crept into the country in different names.
It is time that the parents also keep a track of the websites being visited by their children and try to avoid the impending trouble to the younger generations.
