The Tesla Cybertruck prototype was unveiled in November 2019. Finally, the first Cybertrucj electric Pickup has been built at Gigafactory Texas.
Tesla’s official Twitter handle announced ‘First Cybertruck built at Giga Texas! 🤠’ with all the crew working got it in the picture with the truck in the center. The Cybertruck could not be seen except for the top due to the team surrounding it for the picture.
Elon Musk also congratulated the Tesla team on the start. This marks the start of production of the brand’s fifth production passenger car three and a half years after the EV maker began producing its fourth vehicle, the Model Y in January 2020.
Musk estimates that Tesla could sell 250,000 to 500,000 Cybertrucks a year once the production runs at full pace.
