IPL 2020: MI vs CSK – Get Ready For The Opening Game

Mumbai Indians always give a bad start in every season of IPL. They start off pretty bad and end up in the top four by the latter stages of the league. It looks like they are planning to break the jinx this time. The defending champions are eyeing to clinch the opening match of IPL 2020, against the mighty Chennai Super Kings. The entire cricketing world is eagerly waiting to witness this anticipated clash.

In the 28 matches they played against each other, Mumbai won 17 and Chennai settled with 11. Going by the track record and the team balance, Mumbai Indians are the favorites of this match as well. However, you just cannot underestimate CSK and it’s captain MS Dhoni. People called them Daddy Army and the very same army won the title in 2018. Chennai also looks solid on paper but we are just unsure about the current form of its players.

The exit of Suresh Raina will be a huge blow for CSK. On the flip side, MI will be missing their trump card Lasith Malinga. Both the IPL legends will not be playing this season. The pitch at Abu Dhabi Stadium is pretty dry with long boundaries. So, we can expect some interesting clash between the pacers and the batsmen.
