Praising Shah Rukh Khan – Criticizing Stalin

Published by

Recent events have shed light on the varying reactions within Hindu communities towards two prominent figures: Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan and Tamil Nadu’s Chief Minister’s successor and Minister, Udayanidhi Stalin.

The controversy arose when Stalin made contentious remarks about Sanatana Dharma, leading to police cases being filed against him, and some individuals even offering substantial rewards for information about him. Comparing a religion practiced by the majority of the country to diseases like dengue and malaria is undeniably offensive, and despite the backlash, Stalin shows no sign of backing down.

In stark contrast, Shah Rukh Khan has emerged as an example of tolerance and respect for diverse religious beliefs. Despite being a Muslim, Shah Rukh Khan has garnered admiration by not only practicing immense tolerance but also setting an example for his children. He recently made headlines by visiting Hindu temples to seek blessings ahead of the release of his upcoming film. From his visit to the Vaishno Devi temple to seeking blessings from Lord Venkateswara Swamy on the seven hills, Shah Rukh Khan’s actions have been viewed positively.

While some criticize figures like Stalin for their comments on orthodoxy, Shah Rukh Khan’s conduct stands in contrast. Shah Rukh Khan’s visits to shrines, though not necessary for the success of his films, demonstrate a deep respect for different faiths and cultures. His actions resonate with many, and his popularity continues to soar, in contrast to the controversy surrounding Stalin and the impact it has had on the Sun Next app.
