A Class X student died by suicide by jumping down a multi-storey building in Rayadurgam police station limits in Hyderabad this afternoon.
He neglected academics and got addicted to online games. Eventually, he became anxious over his future and resorted to the extreme step.
Reyansh Reddy, 14, was studying in international School and his family lives in My Home Bhooja. Reddy jumped down the J-Block of the complex. Police said that he died on the spot.
Police suspect that he could have taken such a strong decision after facing anxiety due to non-performance in academics.
A case has been registered and investigation is on.
