As part of the unlock 5.0, the Centre has denied the international flight operations to resume in view of the on-going global pandemic. This ban on international flights has been extended till October 31st but India is operating services to 16 countries and has placed Air-Bubble arrangement for the international passengers.

An air bubble is a bilateral arrangement with a set of regulations and restrictions between two countries that can operate international flights. Travellers coming from Oman, Afghanistan, Bahrain, Canada, France, Germany, Iraq, Japan, the Maldives, Nigeria, Qatar, the UAE, Kenya, Bhutan, the UK and the USA will have to abide by Air-Bubble arrangement.

The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) said it would ease the international flights depending upon the pattern in which the virus will come down.

Apart from this India is continuing its Vande Bharat Mission to bring back the stranded Indians wherever they are struck.
