The Bengaluru Cafe blast incident is being investigated by the National Investigation Agency (NIA). The Anto-terror agency took over the case on March 3 and is now seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect who is believed to have placed an Improvised Explosive Device on March 1st in the cafe.
The Anti-terror Agency released new pictures of the prime suspect who boarded a bus approximately an hour after the blast occurred at the cafe. CCTV footage has the suspect wearing a T-shirt, cap, and a facemask, was seen leaving behind a bag in the cafe.
Another footage from around 9 pm the same day shows the suspect roaming inside a bus station. The NIA is offering a reward of 10 lakh rupees for the information about the suspect.
According to the investigation team, the suspect changed his attire frequently while he traveled by bus to many locations including Tumakuru, Ballar, Bidar, and Bhatkal.
Meanwhile, the Rameshwaram Cafe resumed operations today and with enhanced security.
