Virat Kohli To Be Dropped From T20 World Cup Squad?

Virat Kohli’s place in the Indian team for the T20 World Cup 2024 is likely to be missing. According to the reports chief selector Ajit Agarkar has been asked to ‘convince’ Virat to make way for youngsters in the team.

The reports claim that the selectors opine that the slow wickets in the West Indies wouldn’t suit Kohli’s game. Kohli is likely replaced by Suryakumar Yadav, Rinku Singh, Tilak Varma, and Shivam Dube if the former steps out.

However, things might change for Virat based on his performance with the Royal Challengers Bangalore. Kohli hasn’t yet joined the RCB camp.

Virat Kohli missed the entire England Test because of the birth of his son Akaay.
