In yet another scary incident of speeding car, the driver died in the crash killing two others. Six others were injured in this crash.
A speeding Hyundai Santro rammed into four bikes on a busy interesection with no traffic lights in Kolhapur of Maharashtra. The car was driven by a 72-year-old man. The horrific crash was captured on CCTV. Vasant M Chavan, the driver of the Santro, was a retired Pro Vice-Chancellor of Shivaji University Kolhapur.
The speeding Santro rammed the two-wheelers, throwing the riders several feet away in the air. A man and woamn on a bike narrowly escaped the crash. The Santro crashed into a parked vehicle on the other end of the road.
Reports emerged that the officials suspect Chavan was probably unwell and may have lost control of the speeding car. The Santro also flipped to its right in the same crash.
