Hina Khan, the popular television actress known for her roles in shows like “Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai” and her participation in reality shows like “Bigg Boss,” has been diagnosed with stage-3 breast cancer.

In a heartfelt social media post, Hina Khan revealed that despite this challenging diagnosis, she is doing well and has already begun her treatment. She expressed her determination to overcome this disease and asked her fans and well-wishers for their prayers and support.

Stage 3 breast cancer is considered locally advanced, meaning cancer has spread beyond the initial tumour but has not yet reached distant organs. While this diagnosis can be daunting, many women with stage 3 breast cancer respond well to treatment and can live long healthy lives.

Back then, Hina Khan faced backlash for her comments about the South Indian film industry. During her time on the reality show “Bigg Boss 11,” Hina revealed that she had turned down two big projects opposite actors like Mahesh Babu and Chiranjeevi because the makers had asked her to put on weight and show waist.
