Telangana Doctor Duped Of 33 Lakh Rupees In ‘Indra’ Style

Indra is one of the iconic movies in the history of Telugu cinema. Starring Megastar Chiranjeevi in the lead role, the film is a super hit. The film also has a lot of comic elements, which works well with everyone. There is a comedy scene where Brahmananda and the gang dupe AVS by telling them that the money and gold will get doubled if dipped in the Ganga river. In a similar manner, a Telangana doctor is duped of 33 lakh rupees now.

Going more into the details, Ramoju Rama Chary is a RMP doctor residing in Nalgonda. When he constructed a house two years ago, Bihar natives Sheik Shiraj (53), his son Sheik Aftab (20) and Ram Naresh Yadav (40) worked at his house. They bluffed Rama Chary recently saying that they could double his money using a special liquid.

As a trail, when Rama Chary gave them 6500 rupees, they returned him an amount of 13000 rupees. Having convinced that it is happening for real, Rama Chary gave 33 lakh rupees to them by selling his property.

On June 22nd, the three accused sank the dummy money bundles in a special liquid. Later, they asked the victim to dry the cash bundles for a day and use it later. But, the next day, when Rama Chary opened the cash bundles, he found 500 rupee notes on the top and white papers in the middle.

Having understood that he was cheated, Rama Chary immediately approached the police officials who arrested Sheik Shiraj and Ram Naresh from the Nalgonda railway station. Both the accused were waiting to board a train to escape with the cash. The police recovered Rs 24 lakh from them.

The investigation is still underway as Sheik Afthab fled to Bihar.
