The FSSAI Task Force inspected the Secunderabad branch of the restaurant and found a range of issues that need to be addressed immediately.
The inspection team discovered a 25kg bag of expired Chittimutyalu Rice, which was past its “Best Before” date. Additionally, the storage of raw and semi-prepared foods was found to be lacking proper labelling and some dustbins were without lids.
The restaurant also failed to provide medical fitness certificates for its food handlers, which is a mandatory requirement.
While the food handlers were observed wearing hairnets and uniforms, adhering to hygiene standards, the inspection also found issues with the water used in food preparation and service, says reports.
The FSSAI has instructed the management of Vivaha Bhojanambu to address these violations promptly to ensure the health and safety of their customers.
