US: How Is Early Voting Trend in Swing States?

There are eight days before Election Day in the US for the presidential race between Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump. As of now, more than 43.4 million Americans have already cast their ballots in the election.

The seven key Swing states are Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin.

36 states offer early voting and four out of seven swing states show the Democrats have cast a smaller share of ballots in 2024 compared to the same point in 2020, and the states include Arizona, North Carolina, Nevada, and Pennsylvania.

The average margin between Donald Trump and Kamala Harris in the polls is less than 1 percentage point in four states while it is less than 2 points in the remaining three states.

According to the latest forecast, Trump leads in Arizona and North Carolina while they are tight and even in Nevada. However, the game changer Pennsylvania will decide the winner of the 2024 election and Kamala Harris is 0.3 points behind for now in the 19 electoral votes.
