South Korea’s ‘Baby Shark’ song has emerged as the most-watched video with over seven billion views on YouTube. This song was created by a South Korean children’s educational company, Pinkfong and it is streaming on YouTube since June 2016.
While achieving this feat ‘Baby Shark’ video has surpassed the likes of Luis Fonsi’s ‘Despacito’ which was one of the best music videos ever made. Coming to the ‘Baby Shark,’ it shows just two kids who try to dance like a shark and the lyrics are nothing but ‘Doo… Doo… Doo… Doo’ and in between the kids in the song calls out ‘Baby Shark,’ ‘Mommy Shark,’ and ‘Daddy Shark.’
Kids across the globe got instantly connected to the song and have watched this two minutes and 16 seconds video again and again and so the views poured down. The song became an instant chartbuster by hitting number 32 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 in January 2019.
Celebs like James Cordon and Sophie Turner have recreated this song as part of a social media challenge and it eventually became a TikTok trend in 2018.
