The Donald J Trump administration in the United States has come with its own set of repercussions on the illegal immigration population. The government is going to particularly aggressive when it comes to deporting the legal immigrants in the country and even spending big money on the same.
It can be noted that the United States has completed three rounds of deportation to India already as three military aircrafts were used to deport 332 Indians till now. It can also be noted that the deportees that faced the consequent action thus far entirely belong to North India and not even a single individual related to South India has been deported till now.
Coming to the topic now, the United States has released a new video through the official X handle of the White House and it sends jitters down the spines of immigrants.
“ASMR: Illegal Alien Deportation Flight” the White House caption this video. The usage of the word “alien” describes the kind of approach the United States is taking towards the immigrant population.
In the video, we see authorities using steel handcuffs and chains to secure deportees before flight. The visual gives the implication that the United States is virtually treating illegal immigrants like a criminal or law offender. This should clearly have a morally detrimental effect on Indian deportees, more so if it involves South Indian population.
The United States is doing everything it can do to incur fear amongst illegal population that has been residing in the country. It could be understood that the United States will be going more aggressive with the deportation drive in the days to follow as well.
