Sunita Williams Is Back! When & Where She Is Landing

NASA astronauts Sunita Williams and Butch Wilmore, who have been aboard the International Space Station (ISS) for over nine months, are scheduled to return to Earth tomorrow. This is the much-awaited return of the astronauts as their Boeing’s Starliner spacecraft faced technical issues earlier. A viral picture of the astronauts from the space ship is going viral on social media now as they await homelanding.

To facilitate their return, SpaceX’s Crew-10 mission successfully launched on March 14, 2025, from Kennedy Space Center in Florida, delivering a new crew to the ISS.

NASA has confirmed that Williams and Wilmore will depart the ISS aboard a SpaceX Crew Dragon spacecraft. There will be a live coverage of the hatch closure preparations, beginning at 10:45 p.m. EDT on March 17, 2025.

The spacecraft is expected to splash down off the coast of Florida on March 18, 2025.
