Actress and Bigg Boss TV show contestant Jayashree Ramaiah ended her life on Monday. The Kannada artist was undergoing treatment for depression at Sandhya Kirana Ashram of Bangalore. On Monday, the actress was found hanging herself at the Ashram. The police officials registered the case and started the investigation.
Jayashree Ramaiah participated in the Bigg Boss TV show for the third season. The actress was going through a rough phase where she did not get any work for a long time. The actress had complained about the same to many of her colleagues in the industry. There are reports that the actress has been staying alone, away from family and friends. She stopped responding to calls and messages from family members as well. A case has been registered with Madanayakanahalli police station of Bengaluru rural.
Earlier, the actress posted about her battle with depression on social media. In a Facebook post last year, the actress revealed, “I am not doing all of this for publicity sake. I am not expecting financial help from Sudeep sir as well. I am only expecting my death as I am unable to battle depression. I am financially strong but depressed. I have been going through a lot of personal issues. I have been betrayed since childhood and unable to overcome it.”
